FastSTREAM is a streaming app that enables users to stream all genres of music, sounds and live concerts. After doing a number of research and interviews, we uncovered that users were frustrated by not being able to use one platform to stream a plethora of music. Through usability studies, ideation processes, developing wireframes, mockups, low and high fidelity prototypes, we created a platform that relieves those paint points to easily access those desired categories of music and sounds.
Problem
Through extensive research, we found that users who enjoy supporting and eating at black owned restaurants find it hard to locate them in cities they may have never been to. Additionally they find it hard to make reservations in one particular hub.
Goal
The goal of Culture Rez is to allow users to locate and make reservations for black owned restaurants in different cities all on one platform.
Personas
Paper Wireframes
To follow the user research, personas, ideation and sitemap, I sketched out paper wireframes of each screen to really get a feel of the layout of the website. Making sure to keep the users paint points in mind.

The paper wireframes are highlighted with stars to determine what will be used in the next step of the prototypes.
Low-Fidelity Prototype
Moving from paper wireframes to digital allowed the design to come to life with placement, clear visibility of buttons and visualizing what the home screen would look like.
With the creation of the low-fidelity prototype I connected all screen involved with the primary user flow from homepage to the confirmation of the reservation.

What I Learned
I learned that small changes can make huge impacts on the usability and functionality for the users. I realized that by keeping the user first allowed for a better looking and feeling site.
Our users expressed that the flow of the website allowed for easier navigation with engaging images that assisted in making easier selection of restaurants
